Here at Northwest Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Marc Braman provides comprehensive, whole person, lifestyle medicine based health care — the kind of care we would want if we were the patient — to patients in and around Salem, Oregon. Our “Comprehensive” and “Whole Person” approach is most easily understood through our illustrations below. The science shows that up to 90% of our problems are caused by lifestyle. Typical medicine today does pills and procedures for symptoms and consequences while doing little to nothing to address the cause. “Lifestyle medicine” is about “treating the cause” as primary or foundational treatment. But it doesn’t stop there. We want ALL options on the table — thus, “comprehensive”. From more “natural” therapies with reasonable scientific support to the latest surgical procedure or immunotherapy, we believe in the full scope of options. This also means we are on the leading edge of the best in health care.
